Meet Yeager! This 6 year old black and tan German Shepherd is a gentle giant, weighing 87 pounds, he is calm, sweet, lovable, neutered and ready for snuggles!
Yeager is a pro at being a good boy: housetrained, uses the doggie door, and no accidents in the house. He is a low-energy buddy who loves chill time with his people. He has lived with a pug, did great with him, he happily lives with 2 cats, left chickens alone when he lived with them... he is basically a saint. He lived with 5 and 6 yr old respectful children and had no issues. Did good with everyone that has come into the house.
He is leash trained, knows sit, shake and will come running (well, walking) when you call. This loyal guy won't run off - he just wants to be with YOU.

Back Adoption Info Adoption Application
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
