Miklo (Meeks) is a handsome 6 year old Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix. He weighs 10.1 lbs. Miklo is neutered & UTD on vaccines.
Unfortunately Miklo’s owners have to move because of their job and are unable to take him.
Miklo is a sweet little guy. He is friendly and social. He does fine around children who are respectful. He currently lives with his best buddy, a three-year-old pitbull, and they do great together. When it comes to new dogs he’s not particularly interested in interacting at first but warms up in time.
Miklo has not been around cats. He is house trained if let out consistently. Miklo loves going for walks, playing with his stuffed toys and going on car rides.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
