Meet Wizzy! This 4-year-old, 33-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix (best guess) is a tri-colored bundle of energy that will take time and patience to warm up to new people. She is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations, making her ready for her forever home.
Once she gets to know you, this playful girl loves to run, chase, and play catch - she's FAST! Wizzy lives with an older dog sibling and gets along with him and has been awesome with kids as young as 2. No cats in the house, but her people say she's a social butterfly who'll lick anybody's face!
Wizzy has a quirky side, too - she loves squeaky chew toys, cuddles, and is hilariously loyal. Her humans say she's a bit of a mystery (breed-wise!), but her personality is pure magic. Wizzy is perfect for an active family who wants a loyal companion to join their adventures. If you've got space for her to run and play, Wizzy's ready to bring the fun!
She is used to a high fence and if left alone long periods, she will try digging under but has not escaped. She is house trained, and leash trained and knows Sit and Stay.
Back Adoption Info Adoption Application
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
